Triangular Trophy

The Triangular Trophy is an annual competition involving Boughton, Etchinghill and Pedham Place golf clubs. The competition was created in 1998 and was originally contested by Boughton, Etchinghill and North Foreland. In 2024 North Foreland were replaced in the competition by Pedham Place.   The competition consist of three events, one at each participating club's course in consecutive weeks, typically in May and June.  Each event consists of twelve players from each club playing an individual Stableford round.  The best ten individual Stableford scores of the twelve from each club are recorded and contribute to the total score of each team.  The lowest two scores from each team are discarded. Upon completion of the three events, the team with the highest total score across the three events is awarded the Ron Foster Triangular Trophy.
